TASK/FUNCTION DESCRIPTION - EMBROIDERY:
- Machine Operator – Embroidery is responsible for the production of quality products in the Embroidery area.
- Responsible for operating following equipment: Melco, Brother and Barudan.
- Responsible for the routine maintenance and cleaning of the machines/equipment,
- Participate in and perform the daily exercise program
- Maintain work area, organized and orderly, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Work in other areas as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be able to read and write English fluently
- Previous embroidery or machine operation experience preferred.
- Must be able to enter information into a computer interface on the machine.
- Operators must be able to speak clearly to overcome surrounding industrial noise levels and must have good interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to distinguish different colors and shades of embroidery thread.
- Must be able to thread a very small needle by hand.
- Operators will be required to lift up to 18 pounds while leaning over the machinery to load components.
- Operators must be able to stand for the entirety of the assigned shift, with the possibility of overtime hours.
- Operators must be able to walk back and forth in their designated areas while carrying out their job function for their entire work shift.
***This is a seasonal position.***
2nd shift is 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM Monday through Friday with occasional overtime.
Pay rate is $17.00 per hour.
