What are the responsibilities and job description for the Software Verification (Testing) Engineer position at Current Lighting Employee Co LLC?
This position requires being in the office 5 days/week at our Round Rock, TX facility. We are not offering relocation at this time.
Job Description
- Should work with project team to understand product requirement; convert requirement into use cases.
- Should work with software development team to report defects, debug defects and provide necessary details for quick resolution of issue.
- Should be integral part of system test team performing test planning, test execution, test reporting.
- Should collaborate with other team member in systems labs for installation, maintenance and up keep of systems lab.
- Collaborate with test automation team for potential test automation cases.
- Should be capable to automate web browser, mobile application.
- Should have hands on experience in Continuous integration/ Continuous development process.
- Troubleshoot field defects on program with team member and report observation
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent in related field
- 4 or more years of experience in testing web-based applications on various browsers.
- 4 or more years of experience in testing mobile applications.
- 3 years of experience using test automation tools such as Selenium, Python, Appium.
- 3 or more years of experience in working with RDBMS databases
- 3 or more years of experience with test case management and defect tracking systems
- 2 years of experience in CICD process.
- Should be able to climb up the ladder and install Low voltage sensors and or light fixtures
Compensation
The position has a compensation package inclusive of base, bonus (if eligible), benefits, 401k contribution, time off, recognition awards and more. This salary range is $75,000-$90,000.
