Hours: 7:30AM to 4:00 PM

Description: The principle tasks of the Maintenance Helper are as follows:
- Collects cardboard and refuse from all departments; moves to operates compactors and bailers. Performs minor maintenance on same.
- Operates sweeper and performs minor maintenance to same such as changing brushes, belts, filters, and tires.
- Assists other maintenance personnel in the performance of their normally assigned duties.
- Performs general maintenance such as changing light bulbs, cleaning drains, replacing faucet washers, cleaning and painting of equipment, etc.
- Coordinates with the department Supervisor on any equipment or material problems.
- Maintains service records on boilers, compactors, and sweeper.
- Performs housekeeping duties as required or assigned.
- Adheres to all plant and departmental safety rules.
