Senior Buyer / Planner

We are seeking a Senior Buyer/Planner to join our team and oversee the purchasing of supplies and equipment for our organization. This position is responsible for developing and implementing purchasing strategies, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, and tracking supplier performance. The ideal candidate has excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills, as well as a strong understanding of supply chain management.

Senior Buyer/Planner Duties and Responsibilities:

* Develop and implement purchasing strategies to optimize cost savings, quality, and delivery of supplies and equipment.

* Negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure the best pricing and terms.

* Monitor supplier performance and compliance with contractual obligations.

* Ensure that the organization's purchasing policies and procedures are followed.

* Track and analyze data to identify trends and recommend purchasing strategies.

* Manage supplier relationships to ensure that all parties' needs are met.

* Maintain an accurate database of suppliers and products.

* Research potential suppliers and products to identify cost-effective solutions.

* Prepare and review purchase orders and other documents.

Senior Buyer/Planner Requirements and Qualifications

* Education in business, supply chain management, or related fields.

* 5 years of experience in purchase role.

* Knowledge of purchasing regulations and compliance regulations.

* Able to work independently and manage multiple projects.

* Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Position is full time, Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 4:30 PM. Salary is commensurate with experience. Benefits can be discussed at interview. EOE

Pay: $47,500.00 - $49,900.00 per year
