Supervisor

I’m looking for a trustworthy, dependable part-time supervisor that will share my vision for the store and the customer experience we want to create. This is a part-time position but a very important part of the Curly Girl Candy Shop team.

• Familiar with Salem & able to answer visitor questions re: directions, recommendations, things Hocus Pocus related or at least willing to learn these things.

Previous retail experience as a keyholder required, preferably in a small business.

Duties will include:

• Overseeing daily store operations
• Training & supporting associates
• Assisting customers & recommending product
• Completing opening & closing protocols
• Maintaining cleanliness & organization of sales floor
• Supporting owner in analyzing market trends & suggesting new product options
• Maintaining inventory of bins/pails/shelves
• Managing cash register operations, including handling transactions accurately and efficiently
• Playing a critical role in maintaining high standards of customer service
• Creating an upbeat, joyful shopping experience for customers
• Average @28 hrs / week (fewer in the slow season, more during busy Summer & Fall season)
