We are seeking a talented and personable Hair Stylist / Receptionist to join our vibrant salon team. Responsibilities
- Provide professional hair styling, coloring, and finishing services, including hair extensions, eyelash extensions, and nail care treatments.
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas following industry guidelines.
- Manage appointment scheduling and client check-in using salon software such as GlossGenius
- Upsell retail products related to hair care, skincare, and cosmetics to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue.
- Handle front desk duties including answering phones, greeting clients, and managing store management tasks.
- Assist with retail sales and inventory management to ensure product availability.
- Mentor junior staff members and support team collaboration to foster a positive salon atmosphere.
- Promote salon services through effective communication skills and personalized recommendations.
Experience
- Proven experience as a hairstylist or barber with expertise in hair styling, coloring, and treatments such as hair extensions and eyelash extensions.
- Familiarity with salon software platforms like GlossGenius for scheduling and client management.
- Knowledge of color theory, sanitation practices, store management, retail math, and upselling techniques.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients.
- Experience in retail sales, makeup application, nail care, hair threading, and store management is preferred.
