Job Summary:
As our company continues to grow, we are looking to hire a skilled and efficient Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. No experience necessary in the field of Wound Care, we provide all training needed.
You will be responsible for providing specialized care to patients with acute and chronic wounds. Your expertise and attention to detail will play a crucial role in promoting healing and preventing complications. Responsibilities:
- Assessing and evaluating patients' wounds to determine the appropriate treatment plan
- Managing wounds according to established standards and protocols
- Monitoring patients' progress and documenting changes in wound status
- Collaborating with the healthcare team to develop comprehensive care plans
- Applying skin grafts
- Ensuring compliance with infection control protocols and maintaining a sterile environment
- Documenting patient information accurately in electronic medical records (EMR) systems, such as Practice Fusion
- Mobile practice: You will visit 2-3 facilities per day; schedule flexibility (you make your own schedule)
Experience:
- Valid and active APRN license in the state of Florida
- responsible and committed individual with a strong desire to learn and can perform under pressure
- Familiarity with various types of wounds, such as pressure ulcers, surgical wounds, diabetic ulcers, and burns
- MUST speak fluent English, Spanish is also preferred
- Strong understanding of infection control practices and standards
- Wound care knowledge and experience preferred, not mandatory
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
