Senior Account Executive

OVERVIEW 

The Senior Account Executive is responsible for the day-to-day protection and advancement of client relationships while growing their businesses. This role oversees the execution of client communications plans/campaigns/projects, to ensure effective, on time, and on budget implementation. The Senior Account Executive supports leadership on all financial contracts and forecasting to promote the continued success of our clients and our business. They support new business activities with existing clients as well as additional new business activities as assigned.

 RESPONSIBILITIES & SKILLS 

• Supports account leadership in managing overall client relationship.
• Collaborates with account leadership in client strategic planning process and forecasting.
• Assists in preparing client proposals, marketing communications and strategic marketing plans, media and PR plans.
• Has a firm understanding of all agency functional offerings and our integrated ways of working.
• Is the subject matter expert on assigned client brands to continue to advance understanding across all teams.
• Leads/facilitates/participates in all client meetings (external and internal) with support of account leadership.
• Regularly informs account team regarding client progress, involves account supervisor immediately in the event of potential issues/problems.
• Checks and approves agency deliverables, prior to client review, to ensure it is on brief, meets requirements and ladders up to the overall strategy.
• Coordinates and oversees client’s reviews and approvals. 
• Supports billing and invoice review process, prior to release to clients.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE 

• B.S. in ag and/or food business, marketing, journalism, communications and or related 
• 5 – 8 years of experience managing client accounts in public relations, advertising, marketing and communications 
• Agency experience preferred
• Agriculture related experience preferred
• Proven track record of managing agency and client relationships

BENEFTIS & COMPENSATION

The pay range is $70,000 - $90,000

Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position. These include labor markets and in some instances may include education, work experience and certifications.
