What are the responsibilities and job description for the After School LEGO Robotics Aide/Assistant position at Curious Minds Enrichment?
Are you passionate about LEGOs, enjoy working with children aged 6-11, and available during after-school hours? We're seeking individuals to join our team for a short-term opportunity, running from now until the end of May. No prior experience in robotics is necessary; all training and equipment will be provided.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Pay rate per class $28 (class is 1 hour long)
- Mileage bonus reimbursement
- Paid training
What do aides do?
- Assist instructor with classroom management of students
- Guide students on their fun projects
- Help supervise parent pickup
Your Qualification & Skills
- Extreme reliability
- Consistent punctuality required
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must be available Tuesday and/or Thursday from 2:30-3:30pm (not including drive time)
- Have a reliable vehicle for transportation
- Experience with children is preferred but not required
Covid-19 Considerations:
- All staff working directly with children must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 and provide proof
- Masks are optional for staff
Additional Information:
Availability for both Tuesday and Thursday is preferred but no required
