Overview
Busy daycare center/private school needs energetic, fast-paced full time custodian with attention to detail.
We are seeking a dedicated Custodian to join our team. The Custodian will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our facilities.
Duties
- Cleaning and sanitizing cafeteria tables and chairs and infant high chairs.
- Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies
- Empty trash receptacles and transport waste to disposal areas
-Assist with setting up rooms for meetings or events
- Conduct minor maintenance tasks as needed
- Follow cleaning schedules and ensure all areas are kept tidy
Skills
- Ability to perform general custodial duties efficiently
- Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness standards
Looking for a team player that works well around and with others and can follow directions.
Must be able to move quickly, bend and squat, and lift up to 50lbs.
No experience necessary, but preferred.
Need to be able to work quickly but with attention to details and take pride in ones work.
Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 6:00 pm. During training, hours are 8:30am to 5:30pm. No weekends. Hours are not flexible!
Must be able to pass criminal background check.
