What You Will Do

As a toddler teacher, you will:

• Build loving, secure relationships with every child in your care
• Create engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences
• Encourage language, independence, confidence, curiosity, and social-emotional growth
• Guide children positively through big feelings and developing behaviors
• Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and inviting classroom
• Communicate with families about their child’s learning, development, and day
• Work closely with your teaching partner and the wider school team
• Follow all health, safety, supervision, and licensing requirements
• Participate in classroom planning, training, special events, and school activities
• Help every child feel known, valued, capable, and deeply loved

Lead Teacher Candidates

Lead Teacher candidates should have applicable early childhood education experience and meet—or be actively working toward—Colorado’s qualification requirements. Lead Teachers should feel confident guiding classroom routines, planning meaningful learning experiences, communicating with families, supporting an assistant teacher, and creating a positive classroom culture.

Assistant Teacher Candidates

Experience is wonderful, but we are also excited to meet naturally gifted, passionate candidates who are eager to learn. If you are dependable, coachable, energetic, and truly love children, we are willing to support your professional growth and help you build a rewarding career in early childhood education.
