POSITION PURPOSE/SUMMARY
Curious Jane is seeking an Associate Account Executive (AAE) to support our National Account Team in delivering exceptional service and results for our franchise and multi-location clients. The AAE plays a critical role in supporting Account Executives (AEs) by managing day-to-day administrative and operational tasks, ensuring that projects run smoothly and efficiently. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, proactive team player who is eager to learn the agency business and grow into a client-facing role.
The Associate Account Executive supports communication between the agency and client, coordinates internal processes, assists with research and reporting, and ensures all deliverables are accurate and on schedule. This position is a foundational role within the account team, contributing to client satisfaction and agency excellence.
DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES
Account Support
- Collaborate closely with Account Executives to manage national client accounts.
- Be copied on all client communications and assist in handling administrative follow-ups.
- Prepare and distribute client-ready materials, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Address non-strategic client inquiries and assist with day-to-day communication.
- Coordinate creative trafficking internally and with external vendors for translations and adaptations.
- Input and organize client feedback within deliverable reviews.
- Prepare meeting materials, including weekly status meeting agendas.
- Support coordination of in-person client meetings, client gifts, and added-value initiatives.
Project Management
- Assist with the creation of task requests and project documentation.
- Maintain and update spec sheets with project details as they are received.
- Monitor project schedules to ensure deliverables meet client deadlines.
- Schedule and coordinate internal brief collaborations and cross-departmental check-ins.
- Partner with project managers to update schedules and timelines based on client needs.
Research and Strategy
- Conduct industry, platform, and audience persona research to support strategic recommendations.
- Compile insights and data for client reporting and presentations.
- Support Account Executives in identifying opportunities for client growth and optimization.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2 years of agency experience (franchise or multi-unit brand experience is a plus).
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with internal teams and clients.
- Skilled in preparing, managing, and tracking account-related documentation.
- Analytical thinking with the ability to assist in project estimates and budget management.
- Proactive, resourceful, and able to anticipate team and client needs.
- A collaborative spirit, you thrive when working with a mix of creatives, strategists, analysts, and media pros.
- Familiarity with marketing, advertising, or franchise development best practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with CRM platforms and project management platforms is a plus!
- A Bachelor’s Degree (preferred).
