We are looking for an experienced part-time Baker to join our woman-owned vegan bakery in St. Petersburg, Florida. The ideal candidate must be reliable, a self-starter, and works well with others. Reliable transportation to the commercial kitchen in St. Petersburg is a must.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare vegan baked goods according to company recipes, paying strict attention to detail and quality
- Ensure all ingredients used are fresh and of the highest quality
- Ensure that all vegan baking standards are met
- Monitor and maintain baking equipment and tools
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work area
- Assist in other areas of the bakery when needed
- Maintain accurate inventory of ingredients
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures
- Maintain a positive attitude and work well with others
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Baker
- Knowledge of vegan baking techniques and standards
- Must be available mornings 7- noon
- Reliable transportation to the commercial kitchen in St. Petersburg
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- High school diploma or equivalent
