Curio Wine Bistro and Bar, located in Downtown Fredericksburg, is opening a new full-service restaurant and is seeking energetic, dependable, and hospitality-focused bussers and food runners to join our opening team.
Curio will offer a thoughtfully curated dining experience centered around elevated food and wine pairings, alongside classic cocktails and craft beer. We are looking for team members who take pride in creating a clean, organized, and seamless guest experience while supporting servers and kitchen staff during service.
The ideal candidate works well under pressure, moves with urgency, communicates effectively, and enjoys working as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
This is a part-time position averaging approximately 8–20 hours per week, with weekend and evening availability strongly preferred.

Essential Duties
- Deliver food accurately and efficiently from the kitchen to guests
- Assist servers with table maintenance and guest needs throughout service
- Clear, clean, and reset tables quickly and thoroughly
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, service stations, and back-of-house support areas
- Assist with polishing glassware, stocking supplies, and preparing service stations
- Communicate clearly with servers, bartenders, managers, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow
- Support opening, running side work, and closing duties as assigned
- Maintain awareness of menu items, table numbers, and dining room layout
- Uphold cleanliness, sanitation, and safety standards throughout each shift
Qualifications & Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older and authorized to work in the United States
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude
- Ability to multitask and remain composed during busy service periods
- Willingness to learn and contribute wherever needed during service
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and frequently carry trays, dishes, and supplies up to 40 pounds
- Ability to navigate stairs repeatedly throughout shifts; Curio operates across multiple floors
- Reliable transportation required
