SUMMARY: The Extraction Technician I supports the Extraction department in daily activities for oil extraction and processing in a laboratory environment. This position is under the direction of the Laboratory Manager.

This position involves working with plant material, which may include exposure to pollen, allergens, and other plant-related substances.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Performs daily plant processing in decarboxylation
Maintains pre/post trim stock inventories and accompanying records
Validates material receipt against shipment manifests
cGMP compliant maintenance of laboratory records and documentation
Care and maintenance of the laboratory including supply, organization and equipment maintenance
Qualifications
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel
Preferred
1 year of experience in a laboratory environment
Experienced With CGLP And/or CGMP Requirements
Knowledge and/or experience in Lean management systems
Education
High School Degree
Preferred Associate’s Degree Or Higher
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
Comfortable working in a secure, regulated environment.
