QC Analytical Analyst II in Hopkinton, MA
Curia provides global contract research and manufacturing services to the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries.
We are seeking a talented individual to join our Quality Control team based at our Hopkinton office. As an QC Analyst II, you will report directly to a Sr. Manager of QC Analytical. The successful candidate will be able to work with guidance to execute SOPs and be able to perform routine testing in the QC Analytical Labs. You will run samples for in-process, release, and technical transfers for Analytical, Raw Material, PCR and Bioassay. The employee will be able to perform general lab support, executing projects within the laboratory, writing protocols and generating reports as well as meeting or exceeding quality and timeline expectations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- HPLC / UPLC
- UV/Vis Spectrophotometry
- Wet Chemistry
- pH
- Capillary Electrophoresis (cIEF and CE-SDS, Sanger Sequencing)
- NGS (Next Generation Sequencing)
- Octet BLI (Biolayer Interferometry)
- ELISA and other plate-based methodologies
- PCR/qPCR
- Residual Protein
- Residual DNA
- Work with thermocyclers
- SDS PAGE
- Western Blot
Skills & Qualification:
- BS in a science related field
- 3-5 Years of industry experience.
- GMP a must
- HPLC/UPLC chromatography a plus
- Good organizational skills are required.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
- Must be able to clearly and accurately present written data
- Independent, collaborative, team player.
- Excellent multi-tasking abilities and exceptional attention to detail are required.

Work Environment:
Work is performed in an office and laboratory environment. May be exposed to biological and chemical hazards. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. Light to moderate lifting and carrying objects with a maximum lift of 30lbs. M ust be able to work while wearing personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, gloves, and lab coats deemed necessary to protect testing and to protect employees. Work is to be performed on site.
