Shipping Specialist - Galloway

Essential Job Responsibilities Our Shipping Specialists will need to have the ability to: Preparing materials and packaging prescriptions as specified per business line Answer phone calls and transfer to the proper department within the pharmacy Operate a computer to ring prescriptions out of the register and create a shipping label Ship prescriptions using the appropriate carrier Add tracking information to appropriate applications to be sent to patients Qualifications High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required Current pharmacy technician registration preferred Basic mathematics skills including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing in all units of measure Effective computer and keyboarding skills Working knowledge of pharmacy information systems Strong communication skills, both written and oral Strong prioritization skills and an ability to make decisions independently and effectively Able to operate equipment such as computers, scan guns, tablet counters, and cash registers Familiarity with pharmacy practice settings, legal requirements and limitations, prescription information and calculations, drug identification and generic equivalents, drug manufacturing, packaging and labeling information, and proper drug handling and storage practices preferred Benefits - Full Time Employees after 60 days Health Dental Vision PTO 401k w/company match Curexa is an equal opportunity employer. Rate of Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour (higher end of teir for certified and registered techs only)
