Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role in Palm Springs, CA for a Nurse Practitioner. The Nurse Practitioner will provide high-quality patient care, conduct thorough assessments, diagnose and manage cardiovascular conditions. Responsibilities also include educating patients and families, maintaining accurate medical records, monitoring treatment plans, and staying current with advancements in cardiovascular medicine. The individual will actively participate in improving clinic operations and supporting patient-centered care.
Qualifications
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills specific to cardiovascular care
- Experience in patient education, health promotion, and establishing treatment plans
- Knowledge of electronic health records (EHR) systems and proper documentation practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Advanced cardiovascular life support (ACLS) certification preferred
- Possess a valid Nurse Practitioner license and board certification
- Ability to work independently and with a high level of clinical competence
- Previous experience in cardiology or specialized healthcare is an advantage
