Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced insurance professional for the role of Agency Business Development
Representative to support and enhance our expansion into the Florida auto insurance market. This role is
responsible for identifying opportunities to appoint new independent agencies to offer CURE personal
auto insurance policies, driving growth, profitability, and managing customer relationships. Additional
responsibilities include contributing to operational and service strategy, exercising independent judgment
in evaluating risk, resolving escalated issues, and influencing customer retention and business outcomes.
Essential Job Functions:
● Work with management to strategically target independent agencies that will benefit from adding
CURE to their portfolio of insurance partners
● Make first contact with new agencies via cold calls and warm leads from email campaigns and
marketing banners on technology platforms such as EZLynx and PL Rater
● Identify each opportunity and send agency agreements to those aligning with the expectation of a
minimum of 20 quotes per month
● Assist in the agency onboarding process via phone and email to gather credentialing documents to
expedite the setup process when support staff needs assistance
● Work side-by-side with IT and Operations in the rollout of new technology partners and systems,
such as IVANS and additional comparative rater platforms
● Handle complex and escalated customer matters, determining appropriate resolutions with
minimal oversight
● Exercise discretion in balancing customer needs with company guidelines and risk tolerance
● Gain a comprehensive understanding of CURE’s underwriting guidelines, protocols, and systems,
such as Guidewire and supporting technologies.
● Apply judgment in non-routine or complex scenarios
● Identify trends in customer interactions and recommend process or policy improvements
● Prioritize workload and make independent decisions to meet service and business objectives
● Support the implementation of operational changes and service enhancements
● Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced team members on complex cases and best
practices
● Assist in training and development initiatives, contributing to the overall capability of the team
● Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for Florida auto insurance products, regulations, and
procedures
● Ensure all activities align with Florida insurance regulations and company policies
● Identify potential risks or inconsistencies and take appropriate action
● Contribute to customer retention strategies and overall business performance
● Analyze workflow and customer interaction data to recommend improvements
● Participate in cross-functional initiatives that enhance service delivery and operational efficiency
Experience/Qualifications:
● Active Florida 2-20 (General Lines) License required (4-40 may be considered depending on
scope)
● Requires a strong understanding of the independent agency channel, insurance products, regional
competitors, and agency technology solutions such as comparative raters
● 5 years of experience in auto insurance or with an independent agency
● Demonstrated ability to exercise independent judgment and decision-making in complex
situations
● Strong understanding of Florida auto insurance coverage, underwriting, and regulatory
requirements
● Experience mentoring or guiding team members preferred
● Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Salary Range: $85,000 - $110,000 annually based on experience
Schedule: We offer flexible work hours between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, with options like 8–4,
8:30–4:30, or 9–5. We do our best to support individual preferences, though schedules may be adjusted as needed to ensure strong coverage and teamwork. This is currently a fully remote role with in-state travel required. This is an exempt position.
