Construction Business Operations Manager
Curbed Construction is looking for a highly organized, hard-working, self-starting Business Operations Manager to help run the financial, administrative, and project support side of our construction business.
This is a key seat in our company. The right person will be responsible for keeping invoices, pay applications, contracts, permits, payroll, job cost reporting, insurance documents, warranty processes, and owner/subcontractor communication moving accurately and on time.
This is not a basic admin position. We need someone who is comfortable working in a fast-paced construction environment, willing to jump in wherever needed, and not afraid to communicate directly with subcontractors, owners, municipalities, lenders, insurance brokers, and internal team members.
Responsibilities include:
- Accounts payable and accounts receivable
- QuickBooks entries and financial tracking
- Credit card statement reconciliation and coding
- Payroll and PTO tracking
- Job cost reporting
- Pay applications and AIA billings
- Owner contract and subcontract preparation
- Change order paperwork
- Building permit applications
- Scheduling inspections with municipalities
- City/county/business license renewals
- Preparing financial documents for lenders and surety companies
- COI tracking and insurance audit support
- Warranty manuals and closeout documents
- Scheduling warranty calls with owners and subcontractors
- Supporting company ownership with financial and administrative reporting
- Executive/personal assistant support for company leadership
