Responsibilities
- Thoroughly wash and clean vehicles using appropriate techniques, including hand washing, pressure washing, and auto buffers
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness by vacuuming interiors, cleaning windows, and applying detailing products
- Operate automotive buffers and other cleaning equipment safely and effectively
- Assist with vehicle prep tasks such as buffing, polishing, and minor detailing to enhance vehicle appearance
- Follow safe work practices at all times to prevent accidents and ensure a secure work environment
- Support the team with heavy lifting of equipment or vehicles when necessary
- Maintain cleanliness of the auto detailing facility, including janitorial duties such as sweeping, mopping, and waste disposal
Experience
- Prior experience in an auto detailing facility or car wash environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Familiarity with vehicle cleaning techniques, buffing tools, and detailing products is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during daily tasks
- Customer service skills are valuable for interacting professionally with clients when needed
- Experience with custodial or janitorial work demonstrates strong attention to cleanliness and safety standards
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record is advantageous for moving vehicles within the facility
- Knowledge of window tinting or automotive finishing techniques is a bonus but not mandatory
