Job Overview
Seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Lawn Mowing Technician to perform routine lawn maintenance while taking on additional responsibility of driving the company truck, following daily routes and ensuring work orders are completed accurately. This role is ideal for someone with lawn care experience who is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling equipment and navigating job routes independently, or part of a small team. You won’t be supervising employees, but you will be trusted with key responsibilities that help the day run smoothly.
Duties
- Perform mowing, edging with a weed eater, trimming, blowing and general lawn maintenance
- Ensure properties are left clean and professional in appearance
- Follow service standards for consistent quality
- Assist with seasonal services as needed, ie: hedge trimming, mulch and pine needle laying, etc
- Ensure all equipment and materials are loaded and secured properly and safely, and transport loaded truck and trailer to and from all job sites
- Follow assigned daily route efficiently
- Help maintain an organized workflow throughout the day
- Address basic client questions and concerns and note any property issues or service concerns and communicate them effectively
- Safely operate lawn care equipment including mowers, trimmers and blowers
- Perform basic equipment care such as fueling, cleaning and inspections
- Report equipment problems promptly
- Represent the company positively on job sites
- Maintain punctual and reliable attendance
- Work efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
- Ability to work either independently or well in a small team, depending on job-site assignment
Requirements
- Prior lawn care or landscaping experience
- Reliable transportation
- Experience operating commercial mowing/lawn care equipment, as well as ability to drive a truck with trailer attached (valid DL required)
- Ability to work up to 10 hours a day, outdoors in heat and varying weather conditions
- Ability to work nights/weekends
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work for extended periods
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with clients and co-workers
Preferred
- Experience following route-based work schedules
- Strong attention to detail
- Bilingual a plus

Pay: $18.00 - $27.00 per hour
