About the Role
CuraWound is seeking a Part-Time Wound Care Nurse Practitioner to provide high-quality, patient-centered wound care across skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, and home settings in the Canonsburg area. This is a 1099 independent contractor role for one to two days per week offering flexibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient healing outcomes.
What You’ll Do
- Perform comprehensive wound assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide ongoing wound care management using evidence-based approaches
- Collaborate with facility staff, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams
- Document visits clearly and thoroughly in the EMR
- Educate patients, families, and staff on wound prevention and care best practices
- Adjust treatment strategies based on healing progress
- Serve as a clinical partner supporting improved standards of wound care across multiple settings
What We’re Looking For
- Active Nurse Practitioner license (FNP, AGNP, or similar)
- Current Pennsylvania NP license and DEA (or eligibility)
- Experience in wound care; wound care certification required
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
- Ability to work independently across varied care environments
- Reliable transportation for local travel
