Highlights

- 7-on, 7-off block scheduling
- Approximately four patients per provider per day
- 24/7 physician and advanced practice coverage
Practice & Cases
- Adult inpatient neuroscience care with approximately 20 beds
- Diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation planning for neurologic disorders
- Approximately two admissions per day across the service
- Procedures include arterial lines, central lines, lumbar punctures, and ventilator management
Schedule
- Seven consecutive shifts followed by seven days off
- 12-hour shifts
- Night coverage beginning with recurring blocks
Requirements
- Must be a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant required
- Active North Carolina license required
- AHA BLS and ACLS required
