Practice Setting
- Inpatient cardiovascular surgery coverage
- Collaborative heart team includes 5 Interventional Cardiologists, 2 General Cardiologists, 1 Electrophysiologist, and 2 Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgeons
- Works closely with cardiology, pulmonology, oncology, and intensive care specialists
- Dedicated CV OR team support, including anesthesia, perfusion, and CVICU
Schedule
- Holiday coverage starting mid December with options to extend into early January
- Scheduled clinical hours, 6 to 8 hours per day
- Inpatient coverage with call, shared call structure
- Credentialing timeframe, 30 to 60 days
Cases and Procedures
- Adult cardiac and vascular surgical procedures
- General thoracic surgery experience is valuable
- Program volume context, about 130 CABG annually, TAVR volume is similar
Requirements
- Must be an MD or DO
- Board Certified, Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery CAQ
- Missouri license required, will wait for license with active IMLC LOQ only
