Practice & Cases
- Adult inpatient cardiothoracic surgery
- CABG with on-pump and off-pump techniques
- Valvular repair and replacement plus cardiac and aorto-thoracic aneurysm repair
- Open and endoscopic cardiothoracic surgery with chest wall and pleural procedures
Schedule
- 24 hour beeper call shifts
- 5 to 7 shifts per month
- 1 in 2 call ratio
- 30 minute response requirement
Requirements
- Must be an MD or DO
- Must be Board Certified in Thoracic Cardiovascular Surgery
- South Carolina license or active IMLC LOQ required
- ACLS and BLS required
