Practice Setting
- Inpatient anesthesia service, adult patient population
- 16 plus bed department, typical 5 to 8 patients per shift
- CRNAs and anesthesia techs on site for daily support
- Drager anesthesia machines, Omnicell, Cerner EMR
Schedule
- Monday through Friday coverage
- Daytime OR hours, 7a to 5p
- Weekend 24 hour beeper call, not in house
- 20 minute response time for call
Cases and Procedures
- Cardiac coverage when available, otherwise general anesthesia coverage
- TEE required, basic or advanced certification accepted
- Arterial and central line placement
- Regional blocks
Requirements
- Must be an MD or DO
- Board Certified in Anesthesiology or Board Eligible
- TEE certification, basic or advanced
- Any active US state license accepted
