Inpatient GI - Flexible Monthly Block Coverage in MassachusettsPractice SettingInpatient coverage at an adult acute care facility.Handle Floor, Emergency Department (ED), and Intensive Care Unit (ICU) consults.Onsite Lab and X-Ray support available.ScheduleBlock scheduling available: Commit to only 7 shifts (1 week) per month.24-Hour Call is required during your weekly assignment block.Call structure is approximately 1:4 with coverage from Friday 4pm to Friday 4pm.Carry Beeper overnight for emergent needs.Procedures and CasesGeneral Gastroenterology procedures are required.Procedures include Esophageal Dilatation/Manometry and Interpretation.Perform Small Bowel Biopsy, Sigmoidoscopy, Colonoscopy, and Lower GI Endoscopy.Required to perform Liver Biopsy.RequirementsMust be a Board Certified or Board Eligible Gastroenterology Physician.Active Massachusetts State Medical License is required.Must hold a Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.Credentialing RequirementsAnticipate an approximately 60-day credentialing timeframe.Company DescriptionWe are a healthcare staffing company that was founded in 2009 and focused on placing physicians and advanced practitioners in permanent, temporary, and executive-level roles.
