We are looking for outgoing, creative and enthusiastic people to join our Kids Club team in Malibu at Little Beach House! This is a part-time role suitable for someone with experience working with a wide range of kiddos, and offering regular weekend hours.
Position Summary: Kids Club by HeyCurated is a drop-off program for children 3 years old and up at many Soho House locations. All materials provided (arts and crafts, games, etc) You'll work with one other team member, babysitting kiddos & engaging them in activities while parents stay on premises to brunch. We are currently seeking staff for Kids Club at Little Beach House Malibu from 10:00am - 2:00pm on Saturdays and Sundays.
Responsibilities
- Kids Club Staff reports to HeyCurated Event Coordinator
- Maintaining contact with your team prior to and during Kids Club
- Ensuring child safety, including managing sign-in/sign-outs and monitoring activities
- Guiding and engaging kiddos through crafts and activities
- Responsible for set-up and teardown of Kids Club, and ensuring supplies are kept tidy throughout
- Responsible for filling out post-reports and providing photographs of the shift's crafts and activities
- Ultimate responsibility: Bringing the best energy, enthusiasm and epic fun to the kiddos and families at Kids Club.
Position Requirements
- Enthusiastic & Friendly demeanor: It's important to be warm & welcoming to party guests, families and event managers!
- Professional: Arriving to scheduled shifts promptly (5 minutes early is on time, on time is late), dressed in events t-shirt with fresh, clean, and lovely appearance, ready to go.
- Safety: The #1 priority of all events shifts is to ensure safety to all participants.
Qualifications
- Some college education required - completed degree or currently enrolled (Required)
- Working with children, in events or education: 2 years (Preferred)
- Reliable and communicative
