What You’ll Do As A Freight Broker:
- Prospect, engage, and close new shipper accounts via phone, email, and networking
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers
- Negotiate rates and coordinate shipments with carriers and shippers
- Use systems to prospect customers, quote, and track shipments.
- Communicate proactively to ensure smooth delivery and resolve issues
- Meet and exceed monthly sales targets
Compensation & Structure:
- 1099 Contractor Position
- Hourly Pay: $16.50/hr (in-office)
- Commission: 50% of gross profit for loads you cover for your customers.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in freight brokerage or logistics sales is a plus, but not required
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated, organized, and results-driven
- Comfortable with phone/email outreach and relationship building
- Based in or willing to commute to Wichita, KS or Emporia, KS
