Job Title: Event Warehouse Crew Lead

Job Summary:
 The Event Warehouse Crew Lead is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of the warehouse team to ensure the timely and accurate preparation, organization, and maintenance of event rental equipment. This position plays a key role in maintaining high standards of efficiency, safety, and quality while leading a team to meet operational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership:
  • Supervise and lead the warehouse crew, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
  • Train, mentor, and provide guidance to new and existing team members.
  • Delegate tasks and monitor progress to ensure deadlines are met.
• Warehouse Operations:
  • Oversee the picking, packing, and staging of event rental equipment for delivery.
  • Ensure proper loading and unloading of trucks, verifying all equipment matches delivery manifests.
  • Maintain an organized and clean warehouse space, adhering to company standards.
• Quality Control:
  • Inspect event rental equipment for cleanliness, functionality, and damages.
  • Ensure all outgoing and incoming items are accounted for and meet quality standards.
• Safety and Compliance:
  • Enforce safety protocols and best practices among the warehouse team.
  • Conduct routine inspections of equipment and warehouse facilities to identify and address potential hazards.
• Inventory Management:
  • Assist in tracking inventory levels and reporting shortages or discrepancies to management.
  • Ensure proper storage and labeling of all equipment.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a warehouse or logistics role, with at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs repeatedly and work in various weather conditions.
• Proficiency in inventory management systems and basic computer skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.

Work Environment:

• Fast-paced and physically demanding role requiring regular heavy lifting and extended periods of standing or walking.
• Exposure to warehouse conditions, including varying temperatures and occasional outdoor work.
