We’re seeking an experienced and driven Director of Sales to lead our Event Consultant team in its next chapter.

Our Ideal Candidate Has
- 3–5 years of sales or sales management experience, preferably in hospitality, events, or managed services
- A proven track record of leading and developing high-performing sales teams
- Strong expertise in consultative sales, with an emphasis on relationship-building and solution-oriented thinking
- Robust business development experience – you know how to identify growth opportunities and go after them
- Both B2B and B2C sales experience
- Connections within the event industry in one or more of these sectors:
- Corporate and business events
- Wedding and social
- University and campus events
- Venues, catering, or event planning
What You’ll Do
- Partner with the SVP of Sales, Regional DOS team, and local GM to craft and execute a strategic sales plan for the Charlotte market
- Identify and pursue opportunities in emerging markets, developing new Curated Events partnerships and business relationships
- Recruit, hire, manage, and develop a team of Event Sales Consultants
- Coach your team through consultative sales techniques, client interactions, and professional development
- Cultivate lasting relationships with clients, venues, and partners – and step in personally on key accounts and complex situations
- Leverage CRM tools and sales KPIs to drive team performance and strategic account growth
- Ensure timely, competitive pricing on all contracts while protecting profit margins
- Collaborate with accounting on commission reporting, keeping your team informed and motivated
- Network at industry events across Charlotte to forge new partnerships and stay ahead of market trends
- Work closely with the operations team to deeply understand our product suite and logistics

- Proficiency with CRM systems and sales performance metrics
- Comfortable creating and delivering presentations for prospects and client business reviews
- Solid knowledge of P&L and budget management
Schedule & Location
- Monday through Friday, 9 am–5 pm – in-office required
- Occasional work outside regular business hours
- Based in Charlotte, NC
