What are the responsibilities and job description for the Enterprise Account Executive, Financial Services position at Curate Partners?
Enterprise Account Executive, Financial Services
About Curate
Curate Partners is a practitioner-led consulting and talent firm specializing in data, AI, and digital transformation. Our consulting practice is growing rapidly, with active master service agreements and live engagements across some of the largest financial services organizations in the country. We are known inside those accounts for the quality of our delivery, and that reputation is opening doors faster than we can walk through them.
What sets us apart is that we are practitioner-led. Our consulting practice is led by a former Chief Digital Officer from within a highly regulated industry, and our sellers work alongside senior domain experts who have actually done the work. You will sell with real substance and credibility behind you. These are accounts we have already won and are just initially penetrating. The relationships exist, the delivery is proven, and the spend we hold is a fraction of what it could be. Your job is to take that foothold and turn it into an anchor account that eventually needs a team around it, with you at the center.
The Opportunity
We are hiring a senior Enterprise Account Executive to lead consulting sales into a focused portfolio of large, complex financial services accounts. This is a strategic, relationship-driven role for someone who knows how to break into and expand within major enterprises, and who is energized by building. You will own a small number of named accounts where we already have a foothold, deepen executive relationships, and grow our footprint by identifying high-value business problems across the many business units and buying centers inside each organization.
This is a dedicated consulting sales role. You will focus on selling advisory and delivery engagements, and you will not carry a talent services book. It is a builder's seat: enterprise relationships take time to mature, so we measure early success on the leading indicators of a healthy pipeline, not just booked revenue in your first months.
What You Will Do
- Own and grow a portfolio of named enterprise financial services accounts, refining and executing established account plans that map relevant business units, transformation organizations, decision-makers, buying centers, budget owners, and whitespace.
- Convert account intelligence and executive relationships into active consulting discovery
- Generate, qualify, and close consulting engagements, from focused entry projects through large, multi-workstream programs, across Data and AI
- Develop and sustain trusted relationships with senior executives and economic buyers across complex, matrixed organizations.
- Partner closely with our solutions and delivery teams to shape scope, price engagements, protect against scope creep, and expand successful projects into new work.
- Maintain a disciplined forecast and a clear view of pipeline health, showing steady progression from early conversations to qualified opportunities to closed business.
- Act as a credible voice on industry trends, buyer priorities, and the data and AI landscape, so clients see you as an advisor rather than a vendor.
- Build an expansion path throughout enterprise accounts, creating a sustainable annual account run rate
What You Bring
Required
- 10 to 15 years of sales experience, including at least 5 years selling into large, complex enterprise accounts.
- A proven ability to navigate large, complex organizations with multiple executive and senior level stakeholders, long sales cycles, and competing priorities.
- A strong, experience-backed point of view on the current state of the data/AI landscape and near term horizon
- A track record of selling consulting, professional services, or other solution-based offerings, rather than transactional or single-product sales.
- The self-sufficiency to build in whitespace and open doors on your own credibility, without relying on a large marketing engine or presales machine.
- A hard-working, curious, can-do approach and a genuine drive to build in a growth-stage environment.
Strongly Preferred
- Enterprise financial services experience across asset management, banking, insurance, or wealth.
- Prior experience selling data and AI consulting, ideally at a boutique or practitioner-led firm where your own relationships and credibility drove results.
Why This Role Is Different
Many enterprise sellers come from firms with a powerful brand, a marketing team feeding them leads, and a deep pre-sales bench. This role is for someone who wants the opposite kind of challenge: a growing firm with real delivery credibility, meaningful accounts already in motion, and the autonomy to shape how we win. If you have thrived in an environment where you were the reason the door opened, you will thrive here, and you will have the runway to build a book you are proud of.
What Success Looks Like
- Early on: deepened executive relationships within your accounts, a leveled-up account plan, and a growing set of qualified conversations and opportunities.
- Over time: consistent opportunity creation, high-quality closed engagements, and year-over-year growth within your accounts.
