As we expand into the United States, we’re looking for a highly motivated Event Project Manager to lead the setup of our operations and launch our shows across the East Coast.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the planning, coordination and delivery of the following events:
- Lumos Live candlelit concerts
- Beyond 30 daytime clubbing
- & other touring brands as needed
You’ll work closely with the UK team on marketing and sales, while your primary focus will be the end-to-end execution of events - from booking venues to delivering exceptional experiences on the day. You’ll also be responsible for coordinating external suppliers and managing weekend staff who will support you at the shows.
This role offers flexibility, combining remote work with in-person engagement. Weekend availability is essential, as you’ll be expected to attend events to ensure smooth operations and uphold our high standards.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Establish and grow Curate Group’s presence in the U.S through select event brands.
- Source, book and contract venues; acting as the primary liaison between venue partners, suppliers and our brands.
- Lead the planning and execution of events, overseeing creative, operations and on-site teams.
- Recruit and build a reliable event team, manage staff scheduling, run regular training sessions and process staff payroll.
- Manage the events inbox, handling customer enquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Develop and implement systems and processes to streamline event operations.
- Oversee inventory, stock ordering and logistics to ensure smooth processes week after week.
- Manage production teams, ensuring technical and operational elements run seamlessly.
- Maintain strict budget control while ensuring high quality delivery.
- Deliver daily and post-event reports, analysing KPIs and feedback to drive continuous improvement across the business.
- Stay informed on industry trends and conduct competitor analysis to support strategic decisions.
- Propose innovative ideas and creative event solutions to elevate the event experience.
- Build collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
What We’re Looking For
- A full driving licence and willingness to travel to the events.
- An ambitious, self starter with a passion for events, customer service and creativity.
- Someone dependable and proactive, capable of independently establishing and leading our U.S operations while collaborating remotely with our U.K based team.
- Proven experience in event operations, production or management. Ideally within the live entertainment or hospitality sectors.
- Strong organisational and project management skills with the ability to multitask under pressure.
- Excellent negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive, problem-solver with a creative mindset and an eye for detail.
- Budget management experience.
- Proficiency in Google Suite and team collaboration tools.
- A courageous attitude when it comes to sharing new ideas, ways of working and creative thinking with outputs.
