What are the responsibilities and job description for the Professional In Home Caregivers Needed IMMEDIATELY - Shrewsbury/Glen Rock, PA position at Curantis Home Care, LLC?
We are looking to hire MULTIPLE Professional Caregivers to help clients in their homes in southern York County. We currently have clients in the Shrewsbury and Glen Rock area who are in need of care.
You will operate with a big heart, not only by providing personalized and attentive care but by building genuine relationships with those you serve. You are detail-oriented, highly organized, and committed to creating a healthy environment that meets patient needs. Strong verbal and written communication skills are needed to succeed in this role. Prior caregiving or Hospice experience is a plus. Please be advised that the clients have pets.
Hours:
Monday-Friday: 9am-1pm OR
Monday - Saturday: Day times, exact hours TBD.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily activities such as moving in and out of chairs, baths, wheelchairs, or automobiles
- Care for patients by changing bed linens, light meal prep, very light house keeping, or assisting with personal care
- Maintain records of patient care, condition, progress, or problems to report and discuss observations with the supervisor
- Build relationships with patients by conversing or reading aloud to help keep them mentally healthy and alert, games and excellent socialization are a plus
- Give pre-measured medications
- Engage patients in exercises or other activities
Qualifications
- Graduated from an accredited Home Health Aide program or
- High School Diploma or GED
- One year prior professional experience
- Driver’s license required
