The Customer Service Representative serves as a key point of contact for patients, helping answer billing and insurance questions, process payments, and ensure accurate account information. This role plays an important part in delivering a positive patient experience through clear communication, attention to detail, and compassionate support.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Serve as a friendly and knowledgeable first point of contact for patients, handling inbound and outbound calls to answer questions about balances, coverage, and billing
- Update and maintain accurate patient demographic and insurance information in our systems
- Document call details clearly to ensure seamless follow-up and continuity of care
- Verify insurance information and support claims submission
- Process patient payments over the phone with accuracy and care
- Educate patients on deductibles, co-pays, and other financial responsibilities in a clear, compassionate way
- Deliver every interaction with professionalism, patience, and empathy
- Support additional tasks as needed to help the team and organization succeed

- High school diploma or equivalent required
