Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Intensive In-Community Clinician to join our dedicated mental health team. The clinician will provide intensive, personalized care to diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and young adults with complex behavioral health needs. Duties
- Develop and implement tailored treatment plans incorporating psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA).
- Deliver individual, group, and family counseling sessions focusing on mental health issues such as PTSD, grief, addiction, gender issues, developmental disabilities, and autism spectrum disorders
- Provide crisis intervention and crisis management services to de-escalate situations effectively while ensuring client safety.
- Coordinate care through case management activities including patient care documentation, medical records maintenance, HIPAA compliance, and medical terminology accuracy.
- Utilize telehealth platforms for remote therapy sessions when appropriate to expand access to services.
- Engage in clinical research activities and data collection efforts to support continuous improvement of treatment strategies.
Skills
- Proven expertise in psychotherapy techniques including psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, and psychopharmacology.
- Experience with crisis management protocols and behavior management strategies in inpatient or outpatient settings.
- Skilled in working with children with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder as well as geriatrics populations.
- Proficiency in motivational interviewing and addiction counseling methods to foster client engagement and recovery.
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to behavioral health conditions; experience with medical documentation is preferred.
- Ability to conduct intake assessments efficiently while maintaining HIPAA compliance; experience with telehealth technology is a plus.
