What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lifecycle Marketing Manager - Capillus position at Curallux?
Lifecycle Marketing Manager
Capillus is a direct-to-consumer brand of at-home wellness and beauty devices. Our portfolio spans laser hair growth caps, LED face masks and supplements, each sold to a different customer with different needs. We're growing fast, and owned channels are central to how we win.
The RoleWe're hiring a Lifecycle Marketing Manager to own email and SMS end to end. You'll build segments, flows and campaigns from scratch, then optimize them relentlessly to grow revenue, repeat purchase and customer lifetime value. This is a hands-on role for someone who loves both the strategy and the build.
What You'll Do- Own the email and SMS strategy, calendar and execution across the full Capillus portfolio.
- Build segments from the ground up using purchase history, product interest, engagement and lifecycle stage.
- Design, build and launch automated flows: welcome, browse and cart abandonment, post-purchase, onboarding, replenishment, cross-sell, win-back and sunset.
- Plan and execute campaigns for launches, promotions and peak seasons, including Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
- Tailor messaging for distinct audiences across categories, so every customer gets content relevant to the products they use.
- Run a continuous testing program on subject lines, offers, timing, creative, cadence and flow logic.
- Optimize deliverability, list health and SMS compliance.
- Grow the email and SMS subscriber base through pop-ups, forms and acquisition partnerships.
- Report on performance weekly, including revenue, conversion, retention and LTV, and turn insights into action.
- Partner with creative, e-commerce, product and customer service teams to ship on time and on brand.
- DTC consumer products experience is required. You've worked on the brand side at a direct-to-consumer company selling physical consumer products. B2B, SaaS or retail-only backgrounds are not a fit for this role.
- 4 years of hands-on email and SMS marketing experience, with lifecycle as your core focus.
- A proven record of building segments, flows and campaigns from scratch, not just maintaining existing programs.
- Experience optimizing programs with measurable results, and the numbers to show it.
- Experience at a company with a large portfolio of products across multiple categories and target audiences.
- Strong analytical skills: comfortable with A/B testing, cohort analysis and attribution.
- Working knowledge of email deliverability and SMS compliance (TCPA, opt-in best practices).
- Sharp copy instincts and an eye for what makes a message convert.
- You've built a retention or loyalty program from the ground up.
- Experience marketing replenishment, subscription or accessory products alongside hero devices.
- Experience in beauty, wellness or personal care.
- Comfort with basic HTML/CSS for email templates.
- Self-starter. You don't wait for a brief. You see the gap and build the program.
- Proactive. You spot problems and opportunities before anyone asks.
- High energy. You bring momentum to the team and thrive in a fast-moving DTC environment.
- Organized. You juggle a packed calendar of flows, campaigns and launches without dropping a detail.
Hands-on experience with all three is required:
- Klaviyo: email, segmentation, flows and reporting
- Attentive: SMS campaigns, journeys and subscriber growth
- Shopify: e-commerce platform and customer data source
