What are the responsibilities and job description for the PART TIME DIETITIAN position at Cura-Hospitality?
Cura Hospitality is seeking a Part-Time Casual Registered Dietitian to join our team in Parsons, KS. As a Registered Dietitian with Cura Hospitality, you will have the opportunity to identify and assess the nutritional needs of assigned patients/residents, initiate interventions to achieve and/or maintain individuals nutritional status, and enhance quality of life consistent with patient's/resident's goals.
- Providing nutritional expertise to the health care team and educating patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
- Following the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics' standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
- Interacting with other departments in setting up procedures and policies, and in problem solving as it relates to dining service and nutrition.
- Actively participating in the development, review, and revision of continuous quality improvement programs.
This position will be scheduled 9 hours per week (flexible on day(s) worked during the week). Must-haves include a Bachelor's degree in nutrition or related field, Master's degree in Nutrition or related field, passed a national examination administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR), licensed or certified, per state requirements, knowledge of regulation standards specific to comprehensive assessments, care planning, and residents' rights, and ability to teach others, specifically pertaining to nutrition and dietetics. Nice-to-haves include experience working in healthcare or long-term care.
