About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Part-Time Registered Dietitian to join our team at Cura Hospitality in Newton, KS.
- Provide nutritional expertise to the healthcare team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
- Follow Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics' standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
- Interact with other departments in setting up procedures and policies, and in problem solving as it relates to dining service and nutrition.
- Actively participate in the development, review, and revision of continuous quality improvement programs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in nutrition (Prior to 2024) or related field.
- Masters degree in Nutrition or related field.
- Passed a national examination administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or meets the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics requirements for eligibility.
- Licensed or certified, per state requirements.
- Knowledge of regulation standards specific to comprehensive assessments, care planning, and residents' rights.
- Ability to teach others, specifically pertaining to nutrition and dietetics.
