Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and direction for the nursing department to maintain excellent standards of care.
- Manage nursing staff recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and professional development.
- Oversee the development, implementation, and compliance of nursing policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and prepare for inspections and audits.
- Monitor patient care quality, safety standards, and resident satisfaction, implementing improvements as needed.
- Manage budgets, staffing schedules, and resource allocation within the nursing department.
- Serve as a role model fostering a culture of compassion, integrity, and teamwork.
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Proven leadership experience in nursing, preferably in a long-term care or similar healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and healthcare compliance standards.
