Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service throughout their visit
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks using equipment like espresso machines and coffee brewers
- Handle food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches, salads, or baked goods in accordance with food safety standards
- Operate POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions accurately and efficiently
- Manage cash handling responsibilities with precision, including cashiering and basic math calculations for change and sales totals
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, adhering to food safety and sanitation protocols
- Assist with inventory management, restocking supplies, and ensuring product freshness at all times
Qualifications
- Previous barista or food service experience is highly preferred; familiarity with the food industry is a plus
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Square for efficient transaction processing
- Strong time management skills to handle busy periods effectively while maintaining quality service
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for sales, cash handling, and retail math tasks accurately
- Understanding of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and proper food preparation techniques
- Experience in serving or retail environments demonstrating reliability and teamwork skills

Pay: $21.46 - $25.84 per hour
