Duties:
- Perform welding tasks, torch and plasma cutting applications, Sub-Arc weld overlay and fabrication.
- Use various tools and equipment such as forklifts, plasma cutters, and rigging equipment.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate welding and assembly.
- Adhere to safety protocols and follow codes and standards for welding processes.
- Collaborate with team members to plan and execute welding projects.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Skills:
- Proficient in various welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and stick welding as well as Sub-Arc weld overlay and fabrication.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other necessary equipment safely.
- Familiarity with plasma cutting.
- Strong understanding of reading and interpreting schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
- Knowledge of codes and standards related to welding processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality welds.
- Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues during the welding process.
