Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will support electrical and low-voltage installations across residential and commercial projects.

Responsibilities include:

• Install and maintain electrical systems according to NEC, state, and local codes

• Run, terminate, and test wiring for fire alarm systems, security systems, and low-voltage equipment

• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and system performance issues

• Perform upgrades, retrofits, and new system installations

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation

• Maintain safe and organized job sites in accordance with OSHA standards

• Collaborate with security and fire system technicians during installations

• Communicate professionally with customers, project teams, and supervisors

Qualifications

The ideal candidate is a skilled electrician who is comfortable working in both electrical and technology-driven environments.

Required:

• Journeyman or Master Electrician License (State of Maine)

• Minimum 3 years of electrical experience

• Strong knowledge of NEC and electrical code compliance

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical schematics

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

• Ability to pass a background check

• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs when required

Preferred:

• Experience with fire alarm systems, low-voltage wiring, or security systems

• Familiarity with fire alarm panel programming and system integration
