Field Supervisor -- Air Duct and Dryer Vent Cleaning (Oahu)

Location: Pearl City, HI 96782. On-site. Not remote.

Pay: Starting $31.00/hour (about $64,500 at 40 hours) DOE. Overtime as needed. Expected week is 45 hours or less. (Davis Bacon and Prevailing wage project are separate rates)

Schedule: Monday–Friday. Some Saturdays. After-hours and weekend work is about 20 percent of the year. Sunday is protected except a true emergency.

We clean air systems to NADCA standard on military, medical, industrial, commercial, and residential sites on Oahu. This is a field supervisor seat. You run the crews, own the day’s schedule, and sign off on quality. You get on the tools only when a supervisor’s hands are what finishes the job.

The yard is Pearl City. About 40 percent of the week is on Oahu sites for launch, inspection, and wrap-up. The rest is scheduling, paperwork, equipment, and crew issues. This is not a work-from-home job.

Pay is company scale for the supervisor seat. It is not the laborer rate. Hours a crew member works on a state or federal prevailing-wage project are paid at that classification. This salary is not that rate.

What you will own:

• Assign crews, set the daily schedule, and finish jobs to NADCA standard.
• Inspect work before it is called done. Handle quality complaints on site.
• Enforce EM 385, OSHA, and company safety rules. Report incidents the same day.
• Keep equipment, trucks, and materials ready. Order before the job is short.
• Confirm scope with the client, keep the occupant informed, and close the job out with the office.
• Submit daily and weekly reports. No sandbagged hours, inventory, or quality.

Must have:

• Valid driver’s license and a clean enough record to be insured.
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug test and a national background check.
• Eligible for unescorted access to Oahu military installations. Some sites require eligibility for a Top Secret clearance. U.S. citizenship, or status the installation will badge, and a record that can pass that investigation.
• Physically able to lift 50 lb and work in attics, crawlspaces, and mechanical rooms.
• Three or more years in air-duct cleaning, dryer-vent, restoration, or HVAC, including time leading a crew. Strong project control can substitute for part of the trade time. We will train the NADCA method.
• High school or equivalent. No degree required.

We pay for, after hire: NADCA VMT, NADCA ASCS, Fall Protection Competent Person, First Aid/CPR, respirator clearance, and IPC. IICRC is optional. If you have these, you are at the top of the pay scale.

Products and Services
Cunningham’s ASCS will offer a variety of services and products to include HVAC cleaning and decontamination, dryer exhaust cleaning, supply and exhaust system cleaning, video inspections, air testing, maintenance contracts, air filters, dryer exhaust hoses, bathroom vent covers and Ultra violet lights. These services will be commercial, Industrial, residential, marine and for the health care industries. The company has concentrated its first years in Oahu and now in 2026 branch out to the other islands
