Cunningham | Quill Architects, an award-winning architectural practice based in Washington, DC and Charlotte, NC, is seeking motivated Architectural Designers with up to 3 years of experience to join our Charlotte office. Through myriad design responsibilities, new employees will support our diverse portfolio that includes single-family residential, multi-family residential, institutional, adaptive reuse and historic preservation, mixed-use commercial, master planning, and urban design.
Located in Uptown Charlotte, our open office studio fosters collaboration with the Principals and staff from concept to project completion. In addition to the opportunity to work on myriad project types and scales with an experienced and dedicated team, this position also offers opportunities to engage in firm leadership roles. We support personal and professional development at all levels with ongoing continuing education programs, lectures, committees, and guest speakers.

Qualifications:
- Professional Degree in Architecture from an NAAB-accredited program;
- Motivation to obtain Professional Registration;
- Self-starter with strong conceptual design skills and critical design thinking;
- Highly skilled in the preparation of graphics and presentation materials using Adobe Suite, SketchUp, and rendering software;
- Ability and motivation to learn building codes, zoning ordinances, and other professional practice criteria through independent research and in close mentorship with senior level colleagues;
- Experience in performing design and technical documentation, with ability to work efficiently and effectively in an iterative and collaborative process;
- Proficient with professional experience in Revit and AutoCAD
