We are looking for talented 1st and 2nd Shift -TEMP to HIRE Manufacturing Assembler Technicians to join our team at Cummins, Inc. specializing in the Components Business Segment in Manning, SC.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- The Assembler Technician is responsible to produce assemblies that meet all customer quality requirements. The Assembler Technician is required to become competent in all functions within the Assembler Technician process as assigned by supervision, including but not limited to: assembly of braking system components (cam brakes, ASA, etc.), inspection of assemblies, stack & band function, loading, forklift operation and material handling.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
- Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
- Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills required.
- Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds required.
- Able to work overtime as needed.
- Able to perform all duties and responsibilities listed safely and wear the required Personal Protective Equipment.
- Able to report to every workday, on time and for the entire shift.
- Must have positive attitude and strong work ethics.

Compensation and Benefits
Pay is competitive based upon experience ($16.00-$18.52 /hour range). Attendance Bonus/Sign-On and Retention Bonus offered for qualified candidates. Full Range of Benefits offered within 60-90 days upon conversion to Full-Time Status for qualified candidates only.
