In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Support global supply chain planning and analysis activities by collecting, validating, and analyzing data from sites across North America, South America, Europe, Asia, and Australia.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of supply chain databases using Microsoft Access, Excel, and other reporting tools.
- Create, maintain, and improve dashboards, reports, and data visualizations that support business decisions.
- Design and execute database queries to provide insights into inventory, forecasting, procurement, and operational performance.
- Participate in supply chain improvement projects involving inventory optimization, forecast accuracy, safety stock analysis, and master data management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and global stakeholders to gather data and support operational initiatives.
- Develop training materials, work instructions, and process documentation to support standardization and knowledge sharing.
- Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying data trends, process gaps, and opportunities for increased efficiency.
- Present findings and recommendations to supply chain team members and business stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel; experience with Access or reporting tools is preferred.
- Ability to learn quickly in a dynamic environment while balancing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across global teams.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate and reliable data.
- Interest in supply chain management, operations, business analytics, or related disciplines.
- Must be a full-time college student pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Data Analytics, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Co-op or School-to-Work participation must be part of the student's academic curriculum.
- Preferred completion of introductory coursework in Information Systems, Database Management, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications is preferred.
- Must be available to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, and work on-site throughout the duration of the assignment.
