Job Summary:

Defines vision and roadmap for a product or a subset of capabilities within a product, ensuring alignment with customer needs, business goals, and market trends. Manages the execution of product priorities; maintains conceptual and technical integrity of the product capability, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to maximize product value and impact for the team. Act as the voice of the customer in planning sessions and related events.

Key Responsibilities:

Define the product vision/priorities aligning with business needs and representing the voice of the customer. Conducts market research, user interviews, and data analysis to inform product decisions, define personas and their pain points ensuring these insights inform product requirements and solution development. Translates business needs into clearly defined and prioritized backlog with user stories, defects, enablers and acceptance criteria. Accepts user stories as done, including validation of the stories meeting acceptance criteria, has appropriate acceptance tests, and complies with the Definition of Done (DoD); Support user acceptance testing and ensure features meet business and quality standards before release. Partners with the Scrum Master to drive continuous improvement. Assists in ensuring compliance with InfoSec, legal, and data privacy standards by supporting documentation and review processes. Participates in synchronization ceremonies, iteration retrospectives, inspect and adapt workshops and team meetings to stay informed on cross-team dependencies and initiatives. Oversee and track key team performance metrics, KPIs and objectives and key results (OKRs) to ensure alignment with strategic goals. Collaborate with business owner and other stakeholders as necessary to define product goals, success metrics, and roadmap priorities. Financially responsible for the product or the product capabilities - all aspects, planning and managing.

Finance- and data-driven decision making - Define success metrics, instrument products to capture and measure outcomes (incl. financial transparency) that align to product strategy and business goals. Writes metrics instrumentation for engineering implementation. Consistently uses data to guide product decision-making.

Product/Service requirements and wireframing - Incrementally evolve a product through iterative agile processes to achieve fit for user needs. Create a Product Requirements Document of the product to capture requirements, work with UI/UX to define wireframes

Technical execution - Collaborate with technology experts and team members to deliver valuable and feasible solutions, through coordinated release cadences. Write user stories, lead sprint planning and prioritization, backlog refinement, standup, etc., answer product questions, and make tradeoff decisions. May weigh in on architecture or design tradeoff decisions.

Business Risk Management - Manage risk, engage others (e.g., security, regulatory, privacy, legal) to align on outcomes / business needs

Plans effectively, navigates ambiguity, adapts to change, and drives progress through thoughtful decision-making and execution. Education, Licenses, Certifications: College, university, or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related subject, or relevant equivalent experience required.

Experience: 2–4 years of experience in product management or a related role.

Experienced in managing a product backlog/release plan and tracking team level metrics.

Proven ability to define product roadmaps and manage backlogs.

Experience in solving problems and delivering outcomes through high-performing, cross-functional teams.

Experience in managing systems and tools to enable user interactions and collaboration.

Experience In Leading Cross-functional Self-organized Project/product Teams Preferred.

Experience in leading a product development lifecycle using design thinking techniques preferred.
