In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Promote a safe and compliant manufacturing environment by consistently following HSE standards, using proper PPE, reporting hazards, and actively participating in safety training.
- Build strong tool room fundamentals by completing required coursework and on‑the‑job training hours to develop machinist skills and technical proficiency.
- Support equipment reliability by assisting with preventive, corrective, emergency, and predictive maintenance activities under skilled trades guidance.
- Contribute to product quality by performing supervised work to specifications, conducting quality inspections, and following all process documentation and standards.
- Improve manufacturing efficiency by identifying constraints, supporting downtime failure analysis, and providing feedback to preventive maintenance systems.
- Enhance operational readiness by maintaining clean, organized workspaces and supporting equipment upkeep and housekeeping standards.
- Drive continuous improvement by participating in TPM activities focused on safety, quality, process improvement, material flow, and employee development.
- Strengthen team performance by communicating effectively with machinists and support teams while demonstrating a strong learning mindset and craftsmanship discipline.
